Cushman & Wakefield / Pyramid Brokerage Company, New York State's largest full service commercial real estate firm, is looking for an experienced and highly driven Marketing Assistant to become an integral part of its Binghamton/Corning team.  The Marketing Assistant works in a fast-pace environment, providing support to the executive and sales team and plays an important role in all aspects of the company’s marketing and promotional efforts.

Ideal candidates will have strong writing and organizational skills and will be capable of assisting in the coordination of multiple projects, from copywriting to creating print, email and social media marketing campaigns. The Marketing Assistant will also help coordinate (gather lists, organize, track and schedule) targeted marketing mailings.

This is a detailed-deadline driving position that involves administrative responsibilities and an eye for detail; as materials and campaigns are produced to follow brand guidelines. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, get messages across that have a desired effect.
·         Excellent proofing and editing abilities
·         Uses time effectively and efficiently
·         Learns quickly when facing new problems and is open to change
·         Comfortable learning C&W/PBC proprietary software systems and tools
·         Fluid understanding of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel)
·         Establishes course of action to accomplish goals and evaluates results and develops schedules
·         Can effectively cope with change and can shift gears comfortably
·         Experience in visual/graphic design, marketing and communications and well versed in marketing principles and new technologies
·         Creative and Innovative
 
Preferred Qualifications:
The Marketing Assistant will have at least 2 years of marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree and experience in a real estate brokerage firm is preferred. Candidates should be able to work well independently and contribute as a team player towards overall marketing efforts.
 
 Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
